Frederic is leaving in November after being a Global Grant Scholar from Toulouse. Talk about his expriences while staying in Canada.

Entry is through the door at 53 Daly Avenue where you will be greeted by a member of The Mission team and escorted to the chapel.

Tours will be in groups of 4 or 5, lead by a team member and will include their dining hall, kitchen, shelter beds, health clinic and other areas. There are ramps and an elevator.

Lunch will be before or after your group's tour, in the chapel and will be catered by Chef Ric's at $16 per person, payable in cash to me on the day  of our visit.

Let’s spread kindness together this holiday season!

We’ll gather to assemble Shoeboxes of love and essentials for women in need through The Shoebox Project. These beautifully filled boxes will be delivered to a local collection site, reminding women facing challenges that they are valued and not alone.

How You Can Help:

1. Sign up here for items you can contribute.

2. Bring your contributions to the party—we’ll assemble and decorate the boxes together.

3. Erin will deliver all completed shoeboxes to the official collection site.

Meet Ally Buck, Rotary and Community Fundraising Coordinator at ShelterBox Canada, whose Rotary journey is grounded in humanitarian service, inclusion, and community impact.

Ally joined Rotary three years ago, beginning as a Rotaractor while working with ShelterBox, the global disaster-relief organization founded by a Rotary Club in 2000. Wanting to give back to a movement that has long supported ShelterBox’s mission, Rotary felt like a natural fit.

What Ally values most about Rotary is its openness and sense of belonging. She speaks candidly about being welcomed exactly as she is — tattoos, piercings, and all — and how that visibility helps signal to younger and more alternative-looking people that there is a place for them in Rotary too.
