Vote Daily for Rotary Home All Inclusive Playground

Well, we didn't get quite enough votes to qualify as a Round 1 Semi-Finalist but we did gain an Aviva Broker support.  So, today marks the start of the 2nd Round of this competition and we are eligible to compete in both this round and in the Broker Competition and you can assist us in our efforts if you:

1.      Vote every day for our idea  "Inclusive Playground ACG11827"     http://www.avivacommunityfund.org/ideas/acf11827   -  and you have a maximum of 15 votes that you can cast in this next round;

 2.    Circulate this message on to your Rotary Club and colleagues;

 3.    Circulate this message ( via email to your family / friends / business contacts / social groups and Facebook friends ) with your endorsement and a request that they both vote and circulate to their contacts;

In short, the more people we tell about our idea and the more support we can demonstrate from our base of supporters, the better positioned we will be for consideration as a 2nd Round and Broker Competition finalist.

After the top 30 finalists are identified, the judges score and rank the finalists based on established criteria (Impact, Likelihood of Success, Longevity & Sustainability, Originality, Submission Quality) and then the Aviva Community Fund will distribute funds to one finalist from each group (Small, Medium and Large), starting with the highest ranked.  They also reserve up to $150,000 of the million-dollar fund for one Broker supported idea.

Being part of the Broker competition increases our odds and creates a bonus chance to secure funding for our idea. 

Voting for Round 2 begins today (Oct 24) and continues to Wed/Nov 9.  All prize winners (including the Broker prize winner) are announced on January 25th.
